Head of Conservation and Protection

Nick Bester grew up on a cattle ranch in South Africa.

Bester graduated with a Nature Conservation Diploma from the Cape Town University of Technology. He later worked in conservation in the Eastern Cape, also working as a field guide and professional hunter before returning to his true passion – ‘Protected Area Management’.

Nick moved to Tanzania in 2006 and has since worked on several conservation projects – both in Tanzania and in the Central African Republic.
