HR and Operations Manager

Sheila is a management professional with over 20 years of experience in administration, organisation development and management of non-profit organisations.

Between 2010-2019 Makindara was Country Director for Childreach Tanzania, a non-profit with a focus on education, health, and protection.

In 2014, under her leadership, the organisation received the prestigious Stars Impact Award for good performance, organised by then Stars Foundation which was founded by philanthropist Amr Al-Dabbagh, with President Bill Clinton as a founding member. The Award was handed to Sheila in December 2014 by President Bill Clinton at the Kensington Palace in London. Sheila joins the Six Rivers Africa team as the lead across general operations, human resources and in the broader community outreach projects.
