Head of Restoration

Rian has deep roots in Tanzania, born and raised in Malawi. With an extensive background in conservation, ranging from rhino conservation projects across the Serengeti, he has worked closely with government to assist authorities with protection and monitoring at scale.

Rian recently worked for Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) for six years as the Serengeti Conservation Program Manager providing support in donor liaison and report writing, advise to rhino protection teams regarding equipment and monitoring. Rian is the Head of Restoration, part of the Six Rivers Africa team.
