Gregg Hughes graduated South African based University of Natal with a science degree.
Hughes’ love of nature lured him into the budding safari industry in the 1990’s. He honed his guiding and interpersonal skills at Mala Mala Game Reserve before moving to the wonders of the Okavango Delta in Northern Botswana.
Joining Wilderness Safaris, he had the opportunity to manage and guide in some of Africa’s most incredible wildlife areas. At the same time, he travelled extensively through Africa and around the world, gaining invaluable insight and experience in the travel business. In 2009, he started his own safari tour operating company, Safari Footprints. Today, he enjoys taking bespoke global adventures and consulting on conservation projects and initiatives in Africa.
