Fishing is a hobby to so many, not in Iceland. Fishing has deep-set roots in Iceland's history and has been a way of life for many in Iceland. Angling has become very regulated and rightly so. The expenditure of travelling anglers and fishing fanatics can help support domestic farmers and the community.
